Before AstroWorld hits the shelves, Travis Scott saw fit to drop a couple trippy treats.

Gearing up for the release of his third project, the Houston rapper drops three songs: “A Man, “Butterfly Effect,” and “Green & Purple.”

“A Man” is a head knocker for sure and finds the rapper playing off of the title, which also counts as a double entendre for “Amen.” Travis is reflective on this number, sharing his thoughts on his  life as a rock star. “What’s left in my life?/ Don’t know what’s in store/ I’ve been dealing with these blessings that I can’t ignore,” he raps.

“Butterfly Effect” is vibey in its flow and production, and a cool transition from the former. “M&M’s, sweet like candy cane / Drop the top / Pop it, let it bang,” he sings.

“Green & Purple,” ends things off on a trippy note, serving as an ode to lean and Mary J. The track also includes a verse from a Playboi Carti. Green & Purple, got me going in circles/ Yeah, it’s after curfew, she just left the work, hmm / Yeah, it’s controversial, how we make the world move/ Yeah, you said I heard you, don’t think I overheard you.”
