Travis Scott Goes Platinum Twice in One Day

Travis Scott’s latest career milestone should have the rapper and his team celebrating all through the late night and then some. Even though La Flame is gearing up to his next project, AstroWorld, his last two albums are still getting plenty of spins. In a unique coincidence, both Rodeo and Birds In The Trap Sing Mcknight were both certified platinum by the RIAA on May 22, 2017.

Both Rodeo and the more recent Birds featured their fair share of bangers and fan favorites that have kept the albums in rotation since their release dates on September 4, 2015 on September 2, 2016, respectively. The latter album was propelled largely by lead single “Antidote,” which went on to achieve platinum status. Meanwhile, Birds boasts heavy hitting singles like the 2016 summer anthem “Pick Up The Phone” featuring Young Thug and the Kendrick Lamar-assisted “Goosebumps”.

Congrats to Travis Scott on adding a couple of plaques to the collection. Make sure you check out “A Man” and “Butterfly Effect” for a preview of La Flame’s upcoming LP.
