The S in SZA, stands for Savage.I’m lying. But the lusty songstress is out here leveling up. After scoring a top 3 slot on the Billboard 200 with her long-awaited debut Ctrl, SZA shares the video for “Drew Barrymore.” Dropping the audio back in January, this visual comes as a bit of a surprise but anything good is worth the wait, they say.

The Dave Meyer-directed clip is fun and upbeat, and highlights as a day in the life of the TDE artist. Using NYC as its backdrop, the video begins with SZA and her friends waking up before going for a walk around the city. She and her crew hit the pizza spot for a few slices and roll around in the snow.

Suddenly, the visual takes a savage yet symbolic turn of events and finds SZA naked in a laundromat, which speaks to the tracks premise of dealing with insecurities, companionship and self-worth. The fun then continues as they head to a party and bump into “Drew Barrymore” who inspired the track.
