Remy Ma Confirms Cardi B Collaboration On the Way
Bronx bombers Remy Ma and Cardi B have both had an amazing year thus far and could be blessing the masses with a new collaboration that has the #RemyMafia and #BardiGand screaming “finally!”
The “Conceited” MC recently shared on VH1’s Facebook Live that she and her fellow Love & Hip Hop star plan on collaborating sooner rather than later.
“Yes, we actually were talking about it last night… She grabbed me and said ‘We need to do a song together, I’m not playing!’”
Remy, 37, also admitted that she didn’t always believe in Cardi’s come-up, labeling her as just another pretty face using rap to get ahead.
“When I first heard her – in this business you see people come in and take this rap thing as a joke, everybody think ‘oh because I got a fat ass and a pretty face, I’m gonna be a rapper…’ I just assumed that that’s what it was with her, I actually told her this.”
In hindsight, the wife and mother admits she was wrong for stereotyping the outspoken reality star, especially after coming across old video of the “Bodak Yellow” rapper chasing her dreams as a teenager.
“I saw one day, she was about 17 in high school and she was performing in a talent show in school and it just changed everything.”

The two have since built a close bond, with Remy inviting the 24-year-old to perform at Hot 97’s 2017 Summer Jam alongside fellow femcees Queen Latifah, Monie Love, MC Lyte, Lil Kim, Lady of Rage, and Young M.A.
