Watch Playboi Carti Perform “Magnolia” on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ [VIDEO]

Playboi Carti performs "Magnolia" on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Yo Pierre, Playboi Carti just rocked Kimmel! Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, it’s plain to see that Cash Carti is looking to make it a hot summer. On Monday night, the recent XXL Freshman honoree took the stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to deliver the first performance of his breakout single “Magnolia” on Late Night TV.

Adding some special sauce to his hit song, Carti’s Kimmel performance included support from a DJ, drummer, and two keyboardists. This latest exhibition continues to build fanfare for the first artist signed to A$AP Rocky‘s AWGE imprint. Just last week, JAY-Z shouted Playboi Carti out on Twitter after being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Hov even highlighted the greatness of “Magnolia,” describing it as “incredible.” At this point there should be little doubt as to why the record is already a leading candidate for song of the summer.

“Magnolia” and the Playboi-assisted “Woke Up Like This” by Lil Uzi Vert have recently hit the Billboard Hot 100. The songs currently sitting at No. 40 and 80, respectively.

Following his Late Night debut, Playboi Carti is set to continue bringing his live show to the main stream. The rising star kicks off his U.S Tour on June 22 at the BET Experience in Los Angeles.

Hit the jump to catch the performance and Carti’s 35 tour dates.
