The Low Down: ‘blonded RADIO’ EP. 006 x Frank Ocean

Early this morning, Frank Ocean came through with another episode of his Beats 1 show blonded RADIO. Ep. 006 housed Frank alongside Vegyn and Roof Access. The episode came complete with some new and old tunes, a Mother’s Day dedication and a tribute to 1/2 of Outkast.

Premiering on the aftermath of Mother’s day, it’s only right Frank send a shout out and the famous “all these bitches is my sons” (Nicki Minaj) rapper earned her a special slot in the blonded line-up. Later on in the episode, after playing OutKast’s “Ms Jackson,” Ocean paid tribute to Andree 3000. “You’re just not involved in top 5 conversations because you’re number 1,” he shared. “That’s Andre 3000.”

Additionally, he went on to credit The Beatles as his muse for 2016’s Blonde. “I wanna thank The Beatles for almost single-handedly getting me out of writers block.” Following up with their song “Here, There and Everywhere.”
