KYLE and Lil Yachty Perform “iSpy” on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ [VIDEO]
The rapper formerly known as SuperDuperKyle is having a pretty damn super 2017 so far. With his breakout single “iSpy” peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, KYLE’s trajectory is going nowhere but up these days. Fresh off being selected as a member this year’s XXL Freshman class, the California native got another major look on Wednesday, performing his feel-good hit on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Joined by Lil Yachty, KYLE brought some of the beach vibes from the “iSpy” video to the energetic Kimmel audience. Performing in front of his hometown fans, the California native planted a few neon palm trees on either side of the stage and literally went surfing in the crowd. Adding another amusing bit to the set, KYLE’s DJ even gave Matt Damon a shoutout that regular Kimmel viewers were bound to get a kick out of.
KYLE’s not the only up-and-coming rapper to get his shine on Late Night TV this week. On Monday, KYLE’s XXL Freshman classmate Playboi Carti made his Late Night debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with a performance of his JAY-Z-approved hit “Magnolia.”
“iSpy” and KYLE’s latest upbeat single, “Nothing to Lose,” are both available on iTunes.
