The cross over appeal is real.
Next up in usual pairings are Katy Perry and Migos. Apparently, the former will release a new song featuring the Georgia trio titled “Bon Appetit” this Friday.
Following the release of her song “Chained to the Rhythm” with Skip Marley, the 32-year-old megastar announced the upcoming single yesterday via twitter, sharing the accompanying cover art. “Compliments of the chef: 4.28.17,” she tweeted to her whopping 97.3 million followers.

The cover features Katy’s head on a platter surrounded by fruit as Migos reaches for her face as if she were finger food.
???
Confusion.
Is she the meal in which Migos will “bon apetit”? Do we want Migos to enjoy this treat? The artwork hasn’t been well received and for good reason. It’s pretty laughable and otherwise disconcerting. Social media responded how we assumed.
so u really thought it was cute and cool to have the hands of three black men grabbing for your white ass head on a platter … bye girl. https://t.co/7r2t5fIXv2

Even still, I’m sure this won’t hurt her sales or effect Migos’ Midas touch. The trio earned their first platinum record last January with their hit single “Bad and Boujee.” Shortly after, their album Culture followed suit attaining platinum status.
“C U L T U R E Is Now Platinum. Thank You God Our Fans We Love You. We Really Put This Album Together By HAND.” Quavo wrote on Instagram. Offset shared his own message that read, “G O D I S T H E R E A S O N. #PLATNIUMWAY.”
Stay tuned for more info on this collab coming soon.
