It’s no secret that Jhene Aiko and Chris Brown have crazy chemistry.

Their duet “Drunk Texting” was an eloquent take on modern-day love, which was not only a sign of the times but perfect in it’s message and execution. Following additional collabs like “Post to Be” and “Wishing Remix,” the talented pair reunite on “Hello Ego (Don’t Stop).”

Introspective at best, Aiko details her life as the breadwinner and the accompanying struggle that comes with the title. “I know I’m supposed to be about my money,” she sings. “‘Cause that baby gotta eat when she get hungry / And anything my family need they get it from me / So when shit get ugly, I can’t stop, I won’t stop, I don’t stop.”

CBreezy chimes in with his own candid verse, unpacking his issues head on: “They call me crazy,” he sings. “It’s okay, girl, I got issues / I wear my heart like my tattoos, I share my tears with tissues.”

After releasing the track, Brown shared a screenshot of the track via Instagram with the caption: “Time to fuck the summer up sis.”

A follow up to his documentary Welcome to My Life, Chris Brown is also preparing to drop his double album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon. Check out “Hello Ego (Don’t Stop)” above and revisit Jhene’s newest single “While We’re Young” below.
