JAY-Z’s ‘4:44’ Is the Album You’ve Been Waiting For [STREAM]


Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter is a professor; putting people on game is as much a part of his legacy as his lyricism and flows. And his latest musical offering is no different.

But did you expect anything less?

It’s a beautiful day to be a New Yorker, a Brooklynite and a JAY Z fan: 4:44 has arrived.

A follow up to 2013’s Magna Carta … Holy Grail, JAY-Z has returned with his highly-anticipated 13th studio album, 4:44, a project that sent shockwaves throughout the blogisphere since the mysterious promo campaign surfaced a few weeks prior.

Produced entirely by No I.D., the project features 10 tracks, with appearances by Beyoncé (“Family Feud”), Frank Ocean (“Caught Their Eyes”), Damian Marley (“Bam”), Kim Burrell (“4:44”), The-Dream (“Marcy Me”), Jay’s mother Gloria Carter (“Smile”), and even Blue Ivy (“Legacy”).

The album also ocmes complete with an accompanying animated visual,“The Story Of O.J.,” which was directed by Mark Romanek and JAY-Z (watch below).

At the moment, 4:44 is available exclusively to Sprint customers and TIDAL members only, however there is talk that the project will be available on all streaming services next Friday, July 7. Listen to Hov’s latest opus here and check out the tracklisting below.
