H.E.R. Wants You to Keep the “Lights On”

H.E.R.

H.E.R. is all the rage.

No, really.

Since dropping H.E.R. Vol. 1 last year, the songstress of mystery continues to beckon listeners with her sultry vocals and transparent offerings that allow for an intimate connection, even though she never shows her face.

Gabby Wilson by day and H.E.R by design, the RCA signee dropped her third single “Lights On” from her forthcoming Vol 2 EP via Beats 1 with Cousin Carl. Groovy as expected, her voice is almost like a lullaby but she ain’t talking about sleep. “It’s dark outside / I’m feeling right with you / Don’t turn off the lights / Can we try something new,” she sings.

In addition to dropping H.E.R. Vol. 2 on June 2, she is gearing up to hit the road with Bryson Tiller and Metro Boomin on their “Set It Off Tour.” As her mystery is so much apart of her charm, I’m interested in how her performance will highlight her mystique.

Tune into “Lights On” above and stay tuned for her second project dropping tomorrow! Check out the “Set it Off Tour” dates below.
