Good Music Friday: Tune into H.E.R. Vol. 2

H.E.R.

Guess who’s back? After pushing back the album release date by a few weeks, H.E.R. has returned with Vol. 2 of H.E.R series.

If you aren’t familiar with the elusive songstress, take this opportunity to get your life — because she’s worth it. H.E.R.’s random emergence last year with Vol.1 was as unexpected as it was golden. New age R&B finally gained yet another counterpart, throwing her intro the ring with the likes of Bryson Tiller and SZA.

To put it simply, she’s GOOD.

Her sultry vocals and transparent lyricism not accompany but enhance the R&B/Trap inspired production, which continues to be her guiding light. And we’re so excited to be apart of her massive developing fanbase and we hope to welcome you into the world of H.E.R.

Executive producer behind H.E.R., DJ Camper shared the following on the artist:

“We just have to keep it going. We have a great buzz with over 30 million streams worldwide. She’s still a mysterious individual, so we just want to run with it. She’s coming up with a “Volume 2” project and that’s going to be coming out very soon. I will be executive producing that project also. It’s going to be good. If you thought “Volume 1” was good, wait until the second part. It’s just a vibe. Every round goes higher. It’s not a one quitter. It makes you say “Who is that? We want some more music”. When the music comes out, the world will not be disappointed. I’m working on that now and putting the final touches on it. We have a couple of surprises that I can’t reveal, but just know it’s going to be worth the wait.”

Following lead singles “Every Kind of Way,” “Say it Again” and “Lights On,” check out H.E.R Vol. 2 and drop your comments below.

H.E.R. will also be hitting the road with B. Tiller on his “Set It Off Tour” as well as preforming at the BET Experience 2017.
