It’s safe to say that Chris Brown and Gucci Mane both have plans to “f*ck the summer up.”

As DropTopWop continues to make its rounds since dropping in May, Gucci thought it best to come through with some new tunes. And obviously, we’re not mad at all.

Late Monday night, Guwop dropped the Chris Brown-assisted “Tone it Down” and the title says it all. Gucci ain’t with the shenanigans! Tone it down until you get on his level. “Hold up lil homie tone it down,” Gucci intros. “‘Cause the jewelry that you’re rockin’ is for kids / I’m a grown up.” The flute-inspired rhythm continues with the pair flaunting their ice and boasting of their success and phat pockets. “Artists wanna meet me/ Ballin’ like an athlete, but I ball all four seasons / Diamonds that’s just like Breezy’s / Take it easy, Breezy, go easy,” Gucci continues.

Produced by Hitmaka, C. Breezy also lays down some signature smooth vocals between Gucci’s slick verses. “Tell me what to do ’cause I’m tryin’ to get to know ya,” he sings. “Champagne takin’ shots, won’t have a hangover.” “Tone it Down” comes as their first collab since Chris Brown’s “Party” last year and “Ms. Breezy” off of CB’s mixtape In My Zone 2.
