Gucci Mane is Coming for the Summer with ‘DropTopWop’

Gucci out here feeling gawdly and talking like the boss, and rightfully so. Just in time for Memorial Weekend, Gucci drops DropTopWop, his collaborative effort with Metro Boomin, after announcing the project just days before.
May 26 marks exactly one year since his release from prison, and this project arrives as a celebration with feature appearances from Migos’ Offset (“Met Gala”), 2 Chainz and Young Dolph (“Both Eyes Closed”), and Rick Ross (“Loss for Words”). Yesterday Gucci hit up Magic City with Young Dolph and Rozay in the visual for “Hurt A Ni**As Feelings,” the first single from the project.
Gucci was making easy for you rappers but he had to let it be known that his stock just went up tweeting, “I charge 50 a verse but after #Droptopwopcome out I want a quarter million” while the producer added, “And I charge 40 a beat but after #droptopwop I want 100.”

Keeping up with the momentum, Gucci is pairing up with Rick Ross for an indie film and dropping his Autobiography of Gucci Mane on Sept. 19.
