Gucci Mane and Chris Brown Take It Far East in “Tone It Down” [VIDEO]
It’s a Far East-themed day party at Gucci Mane’s, you’re invited. After lending his patented vocals to Chris Brown’s “Party,” Gucci and C. Breezy are back to throwing shindigs on the latter’s new single, “Tone It Down.”
Sparked by records like Future’s “Mask Off,” Kodak Black’s “Tunnel Vision,”and Drake’s “Portland,” Gucci Mane’s “Tone It Down” jumps on board Hip-Hop’s current fascination with wind instruments. The Eif Rivera-directed visual for the track – which actually samples “Portland” – sees La Flare get host a lavish affair with Asian themes abound. Gucci rocks a dapper polkadot blazer as the man of the hour, while Chris Brown lives up to Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” mention, and breaks out the dance moves.
Gucci doesn’t just rap about ballin’ on “Tone In Down,” he makes sure to show out in the video too. The Atlanta rap legend’s Asian-themed day party comes complete with pretty biddies in kimonos and coolie hats, a sushi sampler laid out on a bare naked women, and a few martial arts experts pulling off some Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon style maneuvers on the dance floor.
