French Montana is dusting off the bad vibes of last year’s disastrous Mac & Cheese 4 rollout and getting back to business as usual. After scrapping what was intended to be his sophomore album and eventually releasing it as a free mixtape following a leak, French Montana has announced the title and release date for his upcoming LP.

Performing at this year’s BET Awards, French Montana assembled a village to perform his infectious smash single “Unforgettable” feat. Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd. With all eyes on the awards show, French seized the opportunity to start his new album rollout the right way. Displayed on a banner on the screens in the background, French formally announced his new album, Jungle Rules. In addition to the title of the project, French also shared the album’s July 14 release date.

Details on French Montana’s upcoming LP are scarce at present, but according to HHNM, we can Jungle Rules. The next offering from the project is expected to a single featuring The Weeknd and Max B. With any luck, the track will continue the momentum started by “Unforgettable,” which has climbed to No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.

If “Unforgettable” is any indication of what to expect from Jungle Rules, then French Montana should be serving up some serious heat with his new album.
