Def Loaf’s glow up has been a sight to see, and the Detroit MC agrees as she preps for her upcoming album, Liberated.

Dej Loaf’s latest single “No Fear” returns with an accompanying video directed by rubberband. The visual is upbeat, positive and shares various symbolism relative to her “Liberated” theme. Opening up with the Detroit native daydreaming on her bed while listening to her breakout single “Try Me,” her bed soon becomes her ride on the open road and she transitions from the four walls of her room to the highway.

The camera soon pans into Dej’s ear and relocates the rapper into a dream world filled with butterflies, one adorns the name “Lil Loaf” on its wings. The rapper then emerges with 3 friends on her bed but Dej decides to end the clip solo, confidently in her all white, facing her fears alone.

“Growing up, I used to daydream in my bedroom about everything from love to my career to traveling the world,” she shares about the video. “The video sort of reflects that joyful feeling of going from daydreaming to realizing my dreams. My new album is a personal journey and I hope my fans enjoying riding along with me.

I’m not a fan of the song, the video and the vibe is too cheesy for my taste, however, I’m definitely a fan of positivity and growth, so flourish sis. Check out the video above and let us know what you think. Hot or not?
