Check Out a Few Must-See Moments from Coachella 2017

Following Queen Bey’s exit, can Coachella hold up to the regally glorious edge snatching affair it promised its attendees?

Probably not, however, the first weekend came jam packed with well dressed celebs, first listens, and mind blowing performances.

Kendrick Lamar’s winning streak continued, closing out the first weekend with a stellar performance. Featuring a hefty amount of material from his latest album DAMN., special guests including ScHoolboy Q, Future and Travis Scott also hit the stage.

Lorde debuted “Homemade Dynamite” and the title track from her upcoming album Melodrama during her Sunday night set. After giving a small group of fans a sneak peek of the song “Sober”during an intimate club show on Friday, Sunday concert goers were in for a treat. Lady Gaga also joined in on the fun, premiering a hot new song to share with the crowd, “The Cure.”

Film composer Hans Zimmer brought a  full orchestra into the dessert, dazzling the crowd. Leading with some favorable words of the mega producer, he tagged in Pharrell Williams to perform his recent single “Freedom.” “He makes the world a better place,” shared Hans. This man is peace and love and freedom.

Lastly, Drake came through during a Future set and performed short versions of  “Jumpman” and “Gyalchester,” and momentarily inspired (pseudo) U.N.I.T.Y as the entire crowd sang “Fake Love” in unison.

And then there was Rihanna. Shutting it down per usual.

" I can't go home yet, cuz enough people ain't seen my outfit "
