It’s been over a year since the Chance The Rapper propelled himself to hip-hop’s upper echelon with the release of his third solo project, Coloring Book. Since then, the Chicago wordsmith and philanthropist has been busy giving back to Chicago public school students and giving us a few standout loosies, including the recent SoundCloud cut “Big B’s” featuring Young Thug. Lil Chano from 79th even gifted fans during the holiday season in the form of a collaborative Christmas mixtape with Jeremih, Merry Christmas Lil Mama. Even though he hasn’t depraved us of new tunes, however, there’s only so long the fans can holdout before getting anxious for a new Chance The Rapper solo project. A preview of a new unreleased track could be the sign we’ve been waiting for.

Chance took to Instagram on Tuesday (August 22) to share a snippet of a track that’s ripe with cross-generational appeal. The Acid Rap auteur decided hopped in the time machine and decided to flip Soul For Real’s classic 90’s tune “Everything Little Thing I Do” for an upbeat track that’s named after the R&B group. The song kicks off with a little vocoder, before Chance gets to rapping some jovial bars over a sample of the group’s easily recognizable single.

Vibe out to a preview of Chance’s upcoming song after the jump.
