Over the past year, Chance the Rapper has become the people’s favorite.

Not only did his 2016 mixtape, Coloring Book, take the music industry by storm, but the Chicago native made history at this year’s Grammys by becoming the first independent artist to take home three trophies.

Along with his music, Chance is revered for his efforts in trying to improve the Chicago Public School system. He’s had meetings with Illinois Governor, Bruce Rauner, and recently pledged a $10, 000 donation to 10 Chicago Public Schools.

With so much on his plate, it’s only right Chance celebrated his 24th birthday the right way. He had a birthday party Sunday night at Studio Paris nightclub in Chicago. What’s a birthday party without a cake?

Chance had a custom-made birthday cake from Chicago’s Alliance Bakery which was an homage to his favorite meal–a Harold’s Chicken seven-piece chicken wing plate with hot fries, hot sauce and a Strawberry-Kiwi Mistic. The cake was two tiers and was decked out in the Harold’s Chicken logo. If that’s not hometown love, we don’t know what is.
