Big Sean Debuts New Travis Scott Collaboration at Lollapalooza 2017
Lollapalooza 2017 took place in Chicago this past weekend, and fans of G.O.O.D. Music walked away with a little more than a dope performance from Big Sean. During his Sunday (August 6) night set, the Detroit emcee blessed concertgoers with the debut of a new collaboration with none other than “Way Back” rapper Travis Scott. And from the sound of it, the unreleased joint is about to have clubs on tilt.
The fan footage from Sean’s Lollapalooza set gives us a healthy dose of Travis on the hook while the former hypes up the crowd. Towards the end of the clip, the I Decided. emcee jumps into his verse which kicks off with the bars “This is not a drill it’s a real thing, I don’t want the head unless your mouth clean.” Though we don’t get to hear much more than that from Sean Don, there’s enough evidence to know that this untitled collaboration between he and his G.O.O.D Music labelmate is a banger.
This isn’t the first time that Big Sean and La Flame have joined forces on wax. The two have previously collaborated on Travis’ “Don’t Play” and “10 2 10 (Remix),” and recently contributed to French Montana’s “Man of My City.” The secret ingredient in this equation however, might be the track’s rumored producer – Metro Boomin. While young Metro has been credited with production work on Big Sean’s latest charting single, “Bounce Back” and Travis Scott favorites like “3500” and “Mamacita,” he’s never cooked up a collab between the two artists before.
Look out for Big Sean and Travis Scott‘s new collaboration to drop soon, and lets hope this is a sign of more heat from the two and Metro Boomin in the near future.
