R&B sensation, Tinashe, has reportedly filed a restraining order against a fan who crossed the line when it comes to his adoration for the singer.

TMZ reports that the “Watch Me Work” entertainer filed the order after the fan, identified as Martin Murphy, reportedly traveled from Boston to L.A., because she says he thinks they’re married.

According to documents obtained by the media outlet, the 25-year-old says she was alarmed to find out Murphy drove to Los Angeles back in June, and ended up close to not just her home, but that of her parents.

Tinashe apparently feels the situation is so dire that Murphy’s father is on board with keeping him away from her.

Murphy “suffered a psychotic break and is unable to distinguish reality from fantasy,” his father allegedly said. He also reportedly feels the singer is in clear danger, a point that a judge agreed with.

So far, Murphy has been ordered to stay a minimum of 100 yards away from Tinashe and her parents.

Stay tuned.
