Get your running shoes ready. Black Girls RUN! is a one-day workshop for female runners and fitness enthusiasts, hosted by Dark and Lovely.

The program has been touring through various cities throughout the country, including New Orleans and Washington, D.C., since March.

The program hopes to “preserve the sexy,” while also encouraging a healthy lifestyle for women. Participants are encouraged to use the hashtag #PTST14.

Each Black Girls RUN! session lasts about 40 minutes — and you don’t have to have any prior running or fitness experience to attend. Of topics covered in the workshop, one of the most important is studying running forms to decrease the likelihood of injury.

Join in on the fitness fun for the last two stops in Chicago and Atlanta! The Chicago meet up is Saturday, July 26 and Atlanta’s is Saturday, August 9.
