Skip the fat

Remember, anything that’s cooked with meat is still considered meat. If you’re committed to cutting back on the unnecessary meat and fat from your meals, take a hard look at your recipes for vegetables, breads and stuffing. When making gravy, you don’t need a whole pan of turkey drippings. Try using vegetable oil or even broth to make your gravy. If it’s seasoned right, no one will care you cut the fat.
