It’s the most wonderful time of the year and everyone is home for the holidays!
So why not round up family members–young and old–to create these fun and easy-to-make crafts?
Sock Snowmen
What You Need:
Roll of thread/string
Glue Stick
White tube socks
Plaid-colored socks
Orange construction paper
Buttons of your choice
Small flower buttons
Googly eyes
What To Do:
1. Choose a white tube sock and fill it with either rice or dry beans, and then close the top with string or thread.
2. Tie off (tightly) two sections of the rice- or bean-filled sock with string or thread, to resemble the shape of a snowman.
3. Now, cut off about a 1/3 section from the bottom of a Plaid-colored sock. You will use this for your snowman’s cap. Use the remainder of the plaid-colored sock for the snowman’s mid-body sweater.
4. Use the glue stick to paste an assortment of multi-colored buttons along the front of the plaid-colored sweater.
5. Finally, use about two inches of string or thread to tie one Flower Button to the top of your snowman’s cap.
