Harlem’s own is making waves for streetwear and Black culture.
Vlone debuted its first runway collection during Paris Fashion Week, and we couldn’t be more proud of A$AP Bari. Titled Black History, this is VLONE’s first cut-and-sew fashion collection. Among fashion’s coolest insiders, A$AP Rocky, Virgil Abloh and Luka Sabbat were front row cheering on their friend like some real ones.
The Spring 2018 ready-to-wear collection features leather men’s jacket and pants sets, texture denim and the brand’s signature FRIENDS tees. Vlone also debuted Nike’s various colorways for Air Force 1 High.
“I wanted to show in Paris to see if I could complete the mission I’m going for,” Bari, who released Vlone’s debut collection back in 2014, told WWD.
Although this is Vlone’s first runway show, the brand has collaborated with Nike and has hosted a slew of pop-up shops around the world. Just recently, Vlone created a capsule collection for the release of the new Tupac film All Eyez on Me.
