The Chicago History Museum recently unveiled its latest exhibition, Inspiring Beauty: 50 years of Ebony Fashion Fair. The temporary exhibit showcases the life’s work and vision of Eunice Johnson, Ebony Fashion Fair creator and director. The show will feature more than 60 garments created by over 50 designers including Christian Dior and Oscar de la Renta.
Museumgoers can simply admire the gorgeous couture on display, or take iconic pieces home, as Leslie Hindman Auctioneers will give fashion enthusiasts a chance to bid on some of Ebony Fashion Fair’s most memorable catwalk stunners.
There will be a online auction held on www.lesliehindman.com where there are hundreds of fashionable gems to choose from, including a breathtaking Oscar de la Renta gown actress Kerry Washington wore at the 2009 Golden Globes.
