Miss Jessie’s Hair Care Line Co-Founder Dead at 45

Titi Branch, co-founder of Miss Jessie’s natural hair care line and creator of Miss Jessie’s Curly pudding, has died at the age of 45.

A leader in the natural hair industry, reports from NV Magazine and confirmation from a family friend to the Washington Post state that Branch died on December 4, 2014 in an apparent suicide.

Her sister and business partner, Miko sent out a tweet with Titi’s name followed by a heart emoji on Sunday, December 14.

Titi ran a popular hair salon in New York with her sister, Miko. Miss Jessie’s was one of the first natural hair care lines to hit the Target shelves. Though it is noted as being on the pricey side, it is highly revered as one of top recommended products for natural hair enthusiasts.

One’s inner battles can often be the scariest. The public face of success can be the total opposite of the truth that sets in the darkness.

We send our condolences to the Branch family, friends and loved ones.
