Birkenstock Ups Their Style For Paris Fashion Week

After nearly 300 years in business, a genius on their payroll thought it’d be a good idea. 

The shoe for Granola-loving hikers made their debut at Paris Fashion Week, and now we are want to run to the nearest mountain barefoot. After 242 years in business, the German footwear brand thought it be a good time to show off their world domination. It’s no secret that Birkenstocks are the comfort shoe of choice among fashionistas.

The collection entitled “ARIZONA” was shown in the picturesque Jardin des Tuileries. Models were dressed in oversized plastic jumpsuits that were reminiscent of candy wrappers.

The shoe for hipsters and people who need hips

There’s a difference between hipsters and people who need a new hip, but there is no difference when it comes to Birkenstocks. And that’s basically where the company bridges the gap between young to old.
