Apple Music Reaches 10 Million Subscribers
Apple Music is quickly climbing the charts as it has reportedly gained 10 million subscribers just six months after its launch.
The streaming service took off June 30 in more than 100 countries, offering first-time users a three-month free trial.
Although the company didn’t win over everyone once the $9.99 fee was applied, its numbers continued to rise.
Mark Mulligan, a music industry analyst, told the Financial Times that the business has “potential to be the leading music subscription service sometime in 2017.”
Currently, Spotify leads the pack with more than 20 million. Jay Z’s Tidal has 1 million.
