Tell us your love story: Bride: His mother would love to tell this story because she was the one that introduced us. His mom was my aunt’s boss. I did her makeup a couple of times and she suggested that I meet her son. He was in town for his mom’s birthday, so she invited me to her home for dinner and to meet Aaron.
When did you know that your partner was the one? Groom: When I visited Kristina in Atlanta and we went on our official first date. Bride: I knew he was the one when I came to Fort Smith to visit him for the first time—we were in a long distance relationship. We talked on the phone all the time and he had been to Atlanta to visit me, but it was great to see him in his own element. Everywhere we went people had nothing but positive things to say about him, which spoke a lot to me about his character and reputation in the town.
What was your most memorable moment from your wedding day? Bride: My most memorable moment was Aaron’s vows to my daughter, Kassidy. It meant so much to me that he included her in our ceremony and this showed his love for our family. Groom: When the gates opened and I saw Kristina for the first time.
What’s the key to success in your relationship? Both: We started off in a long distance relationship so our communication was a vital part of our success.
