In the wedding world, I see only a few general hairstyles for women with relaxed or straightened hair: the cute short cut, the up-do, or waist-length tresses. For many ladies, this means either a fresh cut or a long weave. But what about those ladies who opt to wear their real hair and have shoulder-length tresses?

As of late, we’ve seen quite a few celebs rock the infamous bob. Our fave “It” girl, Beyonce, unveiled her sassy bob earlier this year.

For the ladies who love this trend and don’t want a weave…here are a few options for your wedding day!

The Wavy Bob

This look is great for a beach ceremony and reception. The destination bride with this do will look stunning in a simple dress and a white flower in her hair.  Simple, chic, and pretty.

The Scarlet gown by Monique Lhuillier is a perfect complement!

The Sleek Bob

For the more edgy bride, this cut would be perfect to accompany a very structured dress, like Amsale’s Preston.dress2

The Vintage Bob

This vintage style would be perfect for a traditional or chic bride.  If you’re going the classic/traditional route, pair it with a beautiful, full traditional gown with lace or beading.  This gown by Ersa Atelier would work perfectly!

Whatever bob you prefer, keep this in mind: The head accessory is essential to pulling off this look, be sure to do your trial hair run with several accessory options. Here are a couple of ideas to get you started.
