In my line of work, I encounter my share of brides who dream of a fairy-tale wedding. Though every bride has a different idea of a fairy tale, there are some key elements that every princess bride should consider for her enchanted fete.

Color Palette

A fairy-tale wedding should include soft, feminine colors with a metallic complement. Gold or champagne would work well. Here are just a couple of options for creating a fairy-tale color scheme.

It’s ALL about the dress! Select a gown in rich fabrics such as satin. Try dresses that have a princess/ball gown silhouette and sweetheart neckline. Go long with the train if your venue can accommodate it! Accents of lace and pearls would also give you a regal look.

What venue is most fitting for a fairy-tale event? Why, a castle, of course! Set the stage for your wedding environment by utilizing the perfect castle for your big day!

Décor inside your venue should be plush and ultra-feminine with a hint of vintage!

fairy tale details

Use traditional fairy tales as a starting point for inspiration, but remember to make it your own enchanted affair by creating special details. Consider designing an elaborate monogram. A custom monogram will add the perfect detail for your invitations, menus, aisle runners or lighting effects!
