4 Fun Bachelor Party Alternatives

So you’re the best man in your friend’s wedding, but your buddy isn’t really into the traditional bachelor party festivities.

What do you do?

Before you go booking VIP suites and popping bottles, check out these alternatives:

1. Steaks and scotch. A nice meal with your buddies with a highball full of Scotland’s nectar is the best way to start (or cap) the night. Try signing up for a Scotch tasting in your area, or buy a couple bottles and conduct a tasting on your own.

2. Take in a ball game. If your buddy is an avid sports fan, get him a few tickets to the game. Make sure you bring food and drinks for the tailgating. Bonus points if can score a private suite.

3. Bon Voyage. There are places that will rent you a boat for a few hours. Bring some cigars, hors d’oeuvres and drinks to make it a full on yacht party (you can rent smaller boats if your pockets aren’t that deep). Set sail for the open sea…or rent the boat and keep it docked if you’re not about that sea life.

4. Need For Speed. Places such as The Xtreme Experience allow you drive around their private race track in some of today’s hottest exotic cars. If you’re a car buff like me, this is the perfect gift!

And for the ladies, check out L’Oreal’s post about bachelorette parties from last week.
