Jessica Colvin & Timothy Parham

Venue: True Divine Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL
Honeymoon: Maui, Hawaii
Home: Montgomery, AL

Jessica is an occupational therapist at HealthSouth. Timothy is an environmental, health and safety specialist for Sejong Alabama. Jessica was assured she found the one every time Timothy voiced his Christian perspective during their conversations. And he knew Jessica was his soul mate when he began viewing her as a source of solace. Both aim to “give grace to each other no matter what.”

He knew he was in love when…

She showed him her heart while rehearsing for an event at church. While other members were laughing at Timothy for perspiring, Jessica went to get a towel and wiped his forehead. It showed him that in the midst of turmoil she would be there to comfort him. Timothy knew then and there that she would be the “favor” that comes from finding a wife. She is his “Good Thing.”

She knew she was in love when…

Timothy told her that a husband should love his wife as Christ loved the church. His words and actions were an answer to what she was praying for.

In 10 years we will…

Be happily married with children, successfully tenured within our careers, business owners, and still doing God’s will.

Before the groom got married, he wishes someone had told him…

How much easier life can be with someone who loves you no matter what.

Before the bride got married, she wishes someone had told her…

How wonderful it is to wake up with your best friend every day.

Our favorite activity to do together is…

Dining out together and enjoying a good movie

Our nicknames for each other are…

“Babe” (Tim’s nickname) and “Beautiful”(Jessica’s nickname). Jessica says that Tims is her babe and he calls her beautiful because to him she is absolutely stunning.

Our favorite place to spend time together is…

Destin, Florida.

Our song is…

“Love Ballad” by L.T.D. featuring Jeffrey Osborne.

 Our perfect date night is…

When we walk under the moonlight on natural beaches, holding hands and waiting for dawn to give us new beginnings together.
