Visual Tribute to Blues Legend, B.B. King
Born in the Mississippi Delta, B.B. King believed that the guitar was “a revolutionary instrument for music,” and held dear old “Lucille” close to him at all times. Dedicated to performance and being on stage, King was a 15-time Grammy winner and toured well into his 80s.
On Thursday, May 14, 2015, the Blues King succumbed to his diabetic illness and died in his Las Vegas home.
A storyteller with each pluck of his guitar and vocal lyric, B.B. King’s contributions to the art of Blues will continue to touch the hearts and ears of people around the world.
