Space Shuttle Endeavor Zips Through Compton
By// Mariah Craddick
The space shuttle Endeavor made its final touch down in Los Angeles’ Exposition Park this past Sunday. CBS News reported that it took more than 60 hours to travel 12 miles from LAX to the Science Center. The shuttle apparently came within a credit card’s width of buildings and powerline poles. Yikes! That could’ve been bad. Nevertheless, the shuttle arrived—15 hours late—without causing any harm.
