Record Crowds Pack Jackson Park for 23rd Annual Chosen Few Picnic

The 23rd annual Chosen Few Old School Reunion broke records when it hosted its picnic last weekend. More than 40,000 people flocked to Jackson Park on Saturday to celebrate house music, the Chicago-born dance genre that has influenced popular music since the 1980s.

While the event began as a small gathering of friends from the city’s early house music scene, the picnic has blossomed into a hotly anticipated event that features 12 hours of music and dancing.
