Faith Evans Honored at Pure Heat Community Fest

Atlanta Black Gay Pride ended its weekend celebration with the 3rd Annual Pure Heat Community Festival.

Hosted by The Vision Community Foundation, the show included several singing performances, a hair battle, stroll competition, and a special awards presentation that recognized Grammy award-winning singer Faith Evans for her humanitarian work.

But the songstress wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance. Tameka Raymond (Atlanta Exes), Claudia Jordan (Rickey Smiley Morning Show), Towanda Braxton (Braxton Family Values) and China Upshaw (L.A. Hair) were also there to show their support to the LGBTQ community.

While the festival certainly featured lots of live entertainment, organizers also used the event to help bring awareness to the epidemic of HIV/AIDS and other human rights issues.

Take a look at some of the photos from the event.
