This past weekend, humanitarians from across Chicago were honored at the 2015 FAHF Awards for their artistic contributions. The Fashion Arts of Humanity Fete awards ceremony took place at the Parkway Ballroom in Chicago, and was hosted by model/actor Tony B.
The event also included spoken word by artist K-Love and fashion show interludes by designers Lydia Endora, the Little Dapper Collection, Model Atelier, and Nora Faye.
Some of the honorees included poet Harold Green, Inspiracíon Dance Chicago, and Monarch Thrift Shop, and were presented by influencers such as designer Barbara Bates, baker and blogger Jocelyn Delk Adams, and JET and EBONY.com‘s own Head of Digital Editorial, Kyra Kyles.
The biggest award of the evening, the CARES Award, recognized The Monarch Thrift Shop for embodying The Arts of Humanity’s CARES values (Creativity, Action, Respect, Empathy, and Selflessness).
