While it remains unclear if the story was fact, fiction or simply sprinkled with colorful embellishment, Aziah “Zola” Wells King had all eyes on her and turned the attention into a business venture. Now, the road trip saga will be transformed into a full-fledged film directed by James Franco.
Zola Tells All: The Real Story Behind the Greatest Stripper Saga Ever Tweeted will be based on the Rolling Stone article published in November.
While many praised the narrative of Zola’s adventurous excursion, the fact that James Franco is taking on the project is interesting as he is known for more comedic films. There’s a level of grit, grime, and drama that needs to be reached to maintain its compelling nature.
