Zoe Saldana Capes for Dolce and Gabbana

Some celebs may want to politely remove their capes and place them on the nearest hanger.  Yes, Raven-Symone, we are STILL talking to you.

And clearly we need to also direct some of the side eye to Zoe Saldana, who for some reason took time out of her day to call the growing boycott of family unit experts designers Dolce and Gabbana “the stupidest thing ever.”

Saldana made the following foolish and grammatically questionable statement (wait for it) at the 2015 GLAAD Media Awards when E! asked if she would join Elton John and others protesting the D&G  remarks widely considered  to be homophobic and insensitive to couples with infertility issues.

Saldana’s response to whether or not she’d join the protesters: “No! Not at all, that would be the stupidest thing if it affected my fashion choice. People are allowed to their own opinion, however, I wouldn’t have chosen to be so public about something that’s such a personal thing. Obviously it caused some sensitivity, but then again if you continue to follow the news, you see they all kinda hugged it out, so why are we making a big deal about it?”

Uh, okay, then.  Read the rest of the article HERE  on Color Lines.

Don’t mind us.  We’re just thinking that (a) Nobody told D&G they can’t have an opinion and (b) It serves the designer duo right if their freedom of speech leads to freedom of NOT buying their products.
