Will Smith’s Father, Willard Sr. Has Passed
If you’ve ever wondered where Will Smith’s mental power, work ethic and strong outlook on life came from, you, as he does, can credit his father, Willard Carroll Smith Sr.
Of the man lessons learned from his father, Smith often shared the story of his father making him and his younger brother build a house brick by brick. You can relive Will telling how it came to be on the Charlie Rose show below.
That positive and motivational model in Will’s life, unfortunately passed earlier this week. Not much detail has been released about the cause of death but Smith’s ex-wife and mother of his eldest son, Trey, shared her sentiment via social media, Monday.
We're gonna miss you Daddio! You lived & played by your own rules…you truly were 1 of a kind! You instilled discipline, and a work ethic that has created a legacy in your honor! We send our condolences to Will, his family and loved ones.
