WATCH: Celebs Join Samuel L. Jackson’s Challenge

Remember when the ALS ice bucket challenge was a big deal?

So does Samuel L. Jackson.

The actor published a video to his Facebook page on Saturday calling out all the celebrities who were quick to support awareness for the disease to join him in a protest song against police violence.

The lyrics include Eric Garner’s infamous last words, “I can’t breathe.”

“I can hear my neighbor crying ‘I can’t breathe,’
now I’m in the struggle and I can’t leave,
calling out the violence of the racist police,
we ain’t gonna stop till people are free.

We ain’t gonna stop till people are free.”

At first, it seemed as though Jackson’s singing challenge had fallen on deaf ears. But at least two singers and one group have stepped up to the challenge.

Check out the videos from R&B group Dru Hill and cute couple Jessie J and Luke James below:

One can only wonder if this challenge will go viral…
