If you’ve never had the pleasure of watching Misty Copeland glide across the dance floor, you’re in for a treat, because she graced the stage of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for a performance.
Recently crowned as the first African-American principle dancer of the American Ballet Theater, the dancer visited the late night talk show to discuss the historical milestone.
She also stepped into the spotlight for a riveting performance to“Courante” played by cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
Dressed in a red leotard and tights, the 33-year-old wowed as she effortlessly leaped and twirled with perfection.
