WATCH: Michelle Obama on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’

First Lady Michelle Obama’s term is coming to an end, and she stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to discuss what she’s looking forward to most once she leaves the White House.

In addition to continuing the #62MillionGirls campaign, which aims to give girls worldwide a proper education, she’s also excited to partake in tasks the common citizen might take for granted.

Like what?

“I want to do little things like open a window,” she exclaimed. “I want to go to Target. I want to drive.”

It’s rare that the 51-year-old is allowed to roll down a car window. When it happens, it’s a “treat.”

“My lead agent let me have the windows open on the way to Camp David,” she explained. “It was like five minutes out and he was like ‘the window’s open. Enjoy it!’ I was like, ‘thanks Allen.’”
