Watch: Hip-Hop Sequel to ‘Achy Breaky Heart’

Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and rapper Buck 22 release hip-hop sequel to "Achy Breaky Heart."

Full disclosure: I was a fan of “Achy Breaky Heart” when it came out in 1992. Granted, I was 4 at the time. But, hey, it was catchy!

Now Billy Ray Cyrus (aka the man responsible for bringing Miley Cyrus into this world) has teamed up with rapper Buck 22 to release a hip-hop version of the infamous country hit.

Buck 22, for those like myself who are unfamiliar with the emcee, is the son of jazz drummer Bill Elliott and one of the original R&B divas, Dionne Warwick, according to Rolling Stone. Who knew?

You have to see/hear it to believe it. But I must admit, it’s not as awful as I’d imagined–although it is a bit bizarre, what with a cameo by Larry King and a plethora of twerking aliens. Yes, seriously.
