Maybach Music rapper Wale recently confronted a sports analyst at a Washington Wizards vs. Toronto Raptors NBA all-star game after he was called out for heckling the Raptors’ new forward Rudy Gray.

“Supposedly this fan is a well-known local rapper – Wall-Aye,” Raptors announcer Matt Devlin said during the televised broadcast. “I’m sure somebody on Twitter can tell me exactly if they’ve ever heard of Wale. He’s not Drake, that’s for sure.”

Of course, Wale took to Twitter first to respond, tweeting: “@MattDevlinRaps watch ur mouth.” He then approached Devlin in person which was caught on video here.

Later, Devlin cleared the air and said that the two were only playing around, tweeting: “Me and @Wale was just joking y’all. That’s my boy right there.”

Side eye. They weren’t joking around. Wale has a history of getting sensitive over dumb social media ish and Devlin was probably shook. He saw that Black man with dreads, who wasn’t Drake, in his face and got scared.
