CBS Renews ‘The Queen Latifah Show’

Has the world of talk shows found a new “Queen”?

Well, with the The Queen Latifah Show steadily kicking up ratings since its September 2013 debut, it looks like the “queendom” has it’s eyes on a new matriarch. Currently holding the number-one talk show spot, CBS has agreed to bring back the syndicated Sony Pictures Television production for a second season.

Queen Latifah, who entered the stage of entertainment in the 80’s, as a hip-hop lyricist hailing from Newark, New Jersey, is no stranger to entering territories unknown to both rap royalty and women alike. As a pioneering woman in the male-dominated music genre, she immediately declared “Ladies First!”

Today, as a Golden Globe-winning actress, a spokesmodel for Queen Collection, her own line of CoverGirl products, an entrepreneur with business partner, Shakim Compere at their Flavor Unit Production company and so much more… it’s safe to say that the now two-time talk show host may be here to stay.

Be sure to tune in to the show weekdays. For airing time, check your local listings here!
