Presidential Debate, Tuesday (coverage begins @ 8/7c; click here for local listings)

The second Presidential debate of the season takes place at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York in a town hall format. President Obama and Gov. Romney will take on foreign and domestic policies while Candy Crowley, CNN Chief Political Correspondent, moderates.

Race 2012 (PBS) Tuesday, 8/7c

With the country’s racial demographic rapidly changing, race is a hot topic in this year’s election. In this PBS special, race and its effects on politics are discussed at length. The program also delves into the history of race in politics, from the passage of the naturalization act to President Johnson’s signing of immigration reform into law.

Underemployed (MTV) Tuesday, 10/9c

This new MTV series zooms in on a group of recent college grads in Chicago who find themselves working less than ideal jobs and must learn to deal with the other harsh realities of post-grad life.


Remembering Whitney (Lifetime) Wednesday, 9/8c

The iconic Whitney Houston is celebrated through exclusive, private home videos and candid interviews with her daughter Bobbi Kristina, brother Gary Houston and mother Cissy Houston. The Houston family’s new reality show “On Our Own” makes its’ premiere on Lifetime next week.

Project Runway (Lifetime) Thursday, 9/8c

The winning designer is finally revealed in part two of the season finale. Who will come out on top? Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson will be a guest judge.
